Hey guys, welcome to another movie review episode. Today, I will be spoiling no telling you about the lessons I learnt from the MountZion Movie: Jailer without giving out so much information about the movie.

I saw this movie a few days ago on YouTube, but the film producer uploaded it on YouTube a few months ago. The storyline was quite intriguing and uplifting, and the cast understood the assignment!

I believe everyone- young and old can benefit from this family-friendly movie. Forgiveness truly is a virtue.

So let’s get right to the business of today.  These are the lessons from the movie.

  1. Be kind to everyone.
  2. Learn to forgive; it sets you free.
  3. Watch what you say about people especially when you are not alone.
  4. Never stop praying. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
  5. Be persistent and determined about what you want.
  6. Be a positive influence to children. They learn a lot from adults and their environment. Short story, a while ago, I saw a facebook post where a lady reminisced about her childhood experience and praised one of her ‘uncles’ who wasn’t biologically related to her but took care of her and most of the children in that neighbourhood like they were related to him. She went on to bless him and promised to be a blessing to his children whenever she meets them. It was such a fascinating post to read.
  7. Believe the Word of God. The Word of God is life. Keep speaking what you want into existence.
  8. Don’t be gullible.
  9. Seek help when you need to: If you’ve ever gone through a traumatic situation, it is better to seek help, talk about it, overcome the situation so you won’t be stuck in the past or assume a personality that hurts your future.
  10. Finally, don’t be a jailer! Click on the highlighted statement to watch the MountZion Movie- Jailer.
