One of my friends made me visit Mirdif City Centre after reminding me of the day I “embarrassed” her after our planned dinner date went wrong- I didn’t eat anything apart from bread, and she was left to finish what we ordered. That is a story for another day.
Usually, I visit the malls on weekdays to avoid the crowd, unfortunately so I played myself yesterday.
I will discuss how my visit to the mall went yesterday, even though it wasn’t as pleasant as I thought it would be. Of course, it will be wrong of me to focus on the negative experience alone, so I’ll give an honest review of my visit; the good, bad and ugly.

The good.
Let’s start with what I loved about my visit.
- Texas roadhouse. Oh my goodness their bread is everything! I was told yesterday that it is possible to now purchase the sumptuous bread if that’s what you desire to eat.
- An epicenter for luxury, affordable, international and local stores. Although I prefer shopping online, when I want to go shopping, Mirdif City Centre is one of the best shopping venues close to my neighbourhood.
- Taxi waiting area with sits. Yes! I loved this because some days get extremely busy that we will have to stand for quite a while before getting a taxi. Luckily there are more places to sit after a long day around the mall.
- Nice outdoor sitting areas. Apart from the outdoor seating restaurants, there are a few places to chill in front of the mall. One of such places is the gigantic “MIRDIF” blocks at the entrance of the mall. On a lighter note, you’ll be more comfortable sitting on the “D” block. Although you might not be able to sit there for long as that’s the most Instagram-worthy spot in MCC.
5. One of my favourite skincare brands launched an outlet here. In one of my blog collaborations with my sister, I shared how she introduced me to various skincare products and made me fall in love with Elemis products. Now I don’t get to order online before I lay my hands on their products; I can easily walk into the store at Mirdif City Centre. That, my friends, is special to me.
6. Quite big. It is big enough to burn calories by walking around and feasting your eyes on whatever you love.
7. Close to two recreational parks. Mirdiff Park & Uptown Mirdiff Park are located a few minutes away from the mall. We wanted to head over to one of the parks but couldn’t cause I needed to go home and enjoy my bread.
8. Fun places for adults and kids. Some of the fun things to do in the mall include:
- Skydiving with IFLY Dubai.
- Little Explorers for kids.
- Watch a movie.
- Bowling at Yalla!
- Magic planets for games.
Now to the sour part.
- No clear directions around the mall. It was quite difficult to locate the taxi area and some stores because there were not many signs, so I did a lot of asking (and I was giving the wrong direction once). Anyway, I guess it’s because I have forgotten my way around the mall.
- The main entrance door wasn’t working and it was difficult to locate another. I can’t think of any reason why the main entrance door wasn’t working but I can tell you this; it wasn’t easy to get back to the mall when I left to get some air.
- I was unable to connect to the wifi in the mall.
4. The mall wasn’t so bright, and you know how much bloggers and YouTubers love bright lights when taking photographs and making videos. I had to edit the photos to make them bright.

This post isn’t about what to expect when you visit the mall but how my visit to Mirdif City Centre went. Overall, it’s a great place to shop, dine and have fun.
In conclusion, I am glad that we made it to MCC yesterday.

I haven’t been there, thanks for sharing.
Now I look forward to and know what to look out for.
Oh yes, but it’s a nice place to hang out with friends
