Bay avenue park

Last year, I noticed a pattern of reccurring events during the same period as the previous years, and this has been happening coincidentally for about five years. For instance, I wear braids every July, or I get a surprise during the same period every year. Today, the peculiar experience occurred.

Around this period, two years ago, I published a blog post about spending the night at the beach with my family. This was because my son used to be actively awake, so we made the impromptu decision to go to the beach. The same thing happened yesterday, and this was the period we went to the beach two years ago. We didn’t go to the beach at 11 pm yesterday; we left the house at 5 am to a 24/7 park in Business Bay, Dubai.

I got frustrated with his loud noise and intensive play, so I took him to the park- to talk about spontaneity.

I have known about Bay Avenue Park for a while, so it was also an excellent opportunity to go there with him.

We left the house at 5 am and got there at 6:3am.

What was funny on the ride to Bay Avenue Park was that Gabriel noticed other people on the bus were sleeping; he got upset and cried a lot so that they would wake up. Later he saw they were sleeping again and then held my hand to wake the man resting beside us.

Luckily we got to the metro station before he could disturb the man again.

When we got to Business Bay, I used Google Maps to locate the park because I wanted to be sure of my destination. Remember what happened to me at the Souk in Dubai Mall? I learned my lesson that day.

It took us 20 minutes to get to Bay Avenue Park from the Metro Station.

I expected a big gated park, but unfortunately, it was an open park with jogging tracks, an outdoor gym, and a kids’ play area. I wasn’t disappointed because the view of the park was fantastic.

There is a skating park just beside the kids’ play area and another kids’ play area opposite the Bay Avenue Mall.

When we got there, I met a lovely grandmother and her grandson. We talked a lot about the kids and their tantrums, lol. She encouraged me not to be discouraged; the tantrum phase would soon pass. Later I got to know that her grandson’s name is Gabriel.

We were stunned!

We stayed in the park for about an hour and left because of the weather.

On our way back, I remembered working in Business Bay; I won’t bore you with the details.
