A while ago, I wrote about how I keep fit while working from home. One of such ways is by taking long walks with my son. Other benefits of long walks include exploring new places and connecting with other parents & children. That feeling of getting home extremely tired and having a good night sleep is second to none! Tonight, I decided to embark on a random two-hour walk with my son, on our way, we stopped at Silicon Central Mall.
According to hubparking.ae, Silicon Central is a two-level retail and leisure destination comprising a 16,800 sqm hypermarket and department store, 12 cinema screens, health & fitness facilities, over 220 retail shops, and the most varied food courts and casual restaurants.
Currently, the available stores are Lulu Hypermarket, one of the most popular hypermarkets in the UAE (located on the ground floor) and REO Fashion (located on the first floor). There isn’t much to do in this new mall yet; I come by to shop and take a leisure walk around the promising building.
If you plan to visit Silicon Central Mall, here is what you need to know.
- Location: Dubai Silicon Oasis, one of Dubai’s most serene family-friendly neighbourhoods.
- Landmarks: Le Presidium Building 1 and Green Park Supermarket.
3. How to get there:
- RTA Bus: You can take either of these buses to the mall; 320 and X25.
- Taxi: This is the fastest means of getting to the mall from any part of the UAE.
4. Communities close to Silicon Central Mall: Academic City, International City, Mirdif and Rashidiya.
