La Mer Dubai: An Urban Beachfront worth visiting

I’m not going to lie, La Mer Beach is one of the best beaches I have been to in the UAE.

If you love dining, shopping, basking in the sun and watching the sunrise and sunset on the beach, then this place is worth your time.

I went to the beach a few weeks ago with my family spent about three hours before heading back to the hotel. In all honesty, I wonder how someone like myself will spend more than five years in a small city like Dubai and yet not visit La Mer Beach.

Apart from the beach, the street art in La Mer is everything! It gives a millennial vibe, and I can assure you, the moment you get to La Mer, you will feel young again; I knew about this before going to La Mer, so I was prepared to take tons of pictures for my blog. However, it was quite challenging to get some of the best views of the walls because it was a little crowded.

Overall, I don’t think there’s a place in La Mer that isn’t Instagram worthy lol; anyway, don’t forget to add the hashtag #lamerdubai when you post your pictures on Instagram.

Before heading to La Mer, here are a few things to look out for.

1. The washrooms are fancy with various colours that will lure you to take a look and wash your hands.
2. The sunset and sunrise view will leave you feeling in love.
3. Did you leave some things at home? Don’t worry, there are lots of kiosks and stores purchase beach items.
4. Don’t worry about your little ones getting bored, there are various games for kids.
5. There are various parks such as the Laguna Water Park, Trampoline Park, Drift and much more where kids and adults can have a little fun before going for some sun and sand fun.
6. Don’t want to walk around? There’s a Fun rider cart you can rent.
7. There was a unique scent all over the place. I can’t explain it but it was nice.
8. This fabulous site provides its visitors with two distinctive and astonishing views: the beach view during the day and a city of lights at night.
9. Visit the Roxy Cinema at La Mer for the latest blockbusters, art-house movies, and documentaries.
