This is an open letter to my husband. Baby baby, as you fondly call me, I am so emotional as I type this letter to you. This wasn’t how we planned to spend Valentine’s Day, but unfortunately, there are many things beyond our control.
Even though we are temporarily in a long-distance marriage, the space between us won’t hinder me from expressing my love for you.
It’s quite unfortunate that we’ve never spent Valentine’s day together (you know I keep records) but what comforts me is that you make me feel like every day is Valentine’s Day; it is a dream come true for me.
So I want to use this moment to let you know you are special to me, five years together, but it still feels like I am saying yes to ‘the proposal’.
I know you aren’t expecting this; you are probably reading this in shock (yes, it is written all over your face, as I always tell you); yes, I gave out some spoilers, I know you won’t be expecting this lengthy post.
Thank you for giving me your eternal love and care. Even though Valentine’s day is all about you, every day with you is all about you; I’ll give you all of me!
