The last time I had my hair in the side swept cornrow style was about two years ago; the lady that made it then made this cornrow braids; it’s worth having a good hairstylist by your side.
If I were to compare these side swept braids with the one I had in 2020 well, I would have a thousand reasons why this ombre cornrow braids were just it:
- Size of the braids,
- Length,
- Colour,
- The cornrow style.
I knew I would do better side-swept braids in the future, but I had no idea it would take two years to fulfil that promise.
Last week, I was uncertain about the braids I wanted, but then I remembered there’s always side-swept braids. I hopped on Pinterest because that is the best place to see creativity.
Unlike that last one I got that took forever, this took an hour and a half to get it done, four colours of braiding extension; colour 1, 33 1/27 and 1/grey. I started the braids with colour 1, and the ends had the other colours.
The total cornrows were nine which actually accentuated my personality 🙂
I will share various ways to style these luscious braids in a few days, so for now, see more pictures of the style.
