TGIT!! At least that’s the way we say it in the UAE. Welcome to another fabulous episode of Q & A with Grace. I love playing this game with friends and family as it gives me reasons to think critically, analytically and comically🤪.
I played the August random Q & A game on my other blog; you can check it out HERE.
Today, I’ll let you in on the top 11 questions I was asked about marriage, fitness, current favs and so on
- Have you had dysmenorrhea since you gave birth? *deep sigh* the world deceived me 😂. I was told the pain would go away once I give birth but it worsened.
- What can make you more happy in September? Shopping and more shopping! Kidding, I’d say going to bed every night with a smile on my face knowing that I made every day count.
- How did you become a content writer in the UAE? First, I was motivated to write when someone told me I couldn’t but along the line, I challenged the status quo by finding my writing voice and unique content delivery through storytelling and a relatable conversational tone of writing. Also, I took various courses in content marketing, performance writing, digital marketing and so on. Then, I applied for several content writing jobs; my portfolio was this blog.
- What will you do this month that you didn’t do last month? Journaling
- Who is that person you can’t wait to see before the end of September? One of my brother.
- What do you want to change before the end of September? My weight and the number of blog posts.
- What kind of surprise do you like. I have no idea.
- What is the funniest thing you’ve heard this month? Haha, the game is getting interesting! Someone told me something that happened in her family, of course, I asked for her permission to share it here because it is hilarious. If you are a typical African, you’ll understand this story. So many years ago, she and her husband were doing well and then all of a sudden “his village people started calling him” and he decided to take his family back to their home country. According to her, the speed at which he arranged for their departure was absurd. The only way she could describe it to me was when they got to their country it was as if he would just run to the village and abandon her and the children in the airport to take the airport taxi because he felt running would get him to the village faster. What that basically means is that they were doing well in a foreign country and one day he decided to go back to their country without a plan and since they got back he has been making decisions that will favor his friends and extended family and hurt his immediate family. We can laugh about it now because she’s risen above the storm.
- How do you keep fit while working from home? I make out time for long walks at night because that’s when the weather is friendly.
- What are your current favourites? Let’s see; Online shop- NAMSHI, Sportswear brand- Adidas, Skincare brands- Neutrogena, Boots &Elemis, Makeup item- Mascara.
- Why do you cut your hair often? Well, my sister claims I cut my hair whenever it gets to shoulder length so I can brag that my hair used to be long 😂. Honestly my mood determines the fate of my hair.
whoah this blog is magnificent i love reading your posts. Keep up the good work! You know, many people are searching around for this information, you can help them greatly.
