Project Overview

Danverong Oil and Gas required a professional, visually engaging website that reflected their expertise in the oil and gas industry while ensuring easy navigation and functionality for their users. With a tight timeline of just a few days, I employed the Lean Design Methodology to focus on the essentials, delivering a polished design prototype ready for the developer.

Client: Danverong Oil and Gas Project:

Website Design Timeline: A Few Days

Methodology: Lean Design

The Design Process

Initial Consultation: I collaborated closely with the client to understand their vision, target audience, and key requirements. The client emphasized the need for a professional, industry-relevant design that highlighted their services, brand identity, and accessibility.

Wireframing: Using Figma, I created low-fidelity wireframes to outline the layout of the five key pages: Home, About, Services, Blog, and Contact. This stage ensured that the structure aligned with the client’s goals and user expectations.

Branding

The logo design was central to establishing the visual identity. The logo featured a bold D integrated with a fire motif, symbolizing the energy and expertise of Danverong Oil and Gas.

The colors—red, orange, and white—reinforced this fiery, energy-driven identity. Typography and Colors Font Styles: Holtwood One SC: For headings, to create a classic and professional tone. Roboto Serif: For subheadings and body text, ensuring readability and modernity. Playfair Display: For specific emphasis elements, such as the logo tagline or CTAs.

High-Fidelity Prototype

Using Figma, I designed a pixel-perfect prototype that showcased: A responsive layout for both desktop and mobile devices. Consistent branding across all pages. Clear navigation for effortless user experience. Handover I delivered the final prototype to the developer, including style guides and detailed specifications for fonts, colors, and responsive behaviors.

High-Fidelity Prototype

Despite the short timeline, the Danverong Oil and Gas website achieved a balance of aesthetics and functionality. The use of the Lean Design method ensured an efficient process without compromising on quality. The client appreciated the logo design and branding choices, which captured the essence of their business. They also praised the seamless developer handoff, which expedited the project’s completion.
