Hey, y’all! Guess who’s in a good mood? This week has been so eventful, and to make it even special, I’ve been receiving heartfelt messages and comments on this blog. Trust me, your kind words means a lot to me and makes my blogging journey memorable.

Let’s get right into what we have for today. As you know, I am passionate about helping new bloggers find an easy blogging path; I have written various articles on creating a work-life balance while working from home, overcoming blogging challenges, etc.

Today, I’ll be discussing the most important blog posts and pages every new blogger should have on their website. The benefits of these posts and pages are that it keeps you inspired to write, and builds a special connection with readers.

Important blog posts to write for an exciting blogging experience.

  1. A welcome post. This should be the first post you publish on your blog to welcome your reader. Your welcome post should be about how excited you are to be on a new career/personal journey, inform your readers about your decision to create a blog and what they should expect from you.
  2. The ‘about me’ post. At this point, people will want to know a little (or more) about the brains behind the blog. Tell your readers about you, your passion, hobbies, favs, mistakes (if you may). Remember to keep it simple and interesting.
  3. Milestone post. So you’ve been blogging for what, a week? month? Let your readers know about this. Don’t forget to celebrate every milestone and wins.
  4. Questions post. This shows you are open-minded and willing to know how your audience achieve their goals and overcome challenges.
  5. FAQ post. Of course, you’d be asked questions about your decision to start a blog or how your blogging journey has been. In fact, you might be asked other questions that don’t relate to your blog but guess what? Blog about it! Let your readers know the funny, interesting, and weird questions you’ve been asked.
  6. “A day in your life” post. Who doesn’t want to know how you spend your day? Well as long as you keep your viewers entertained. When you write about your day, don’t forget to relate it to your niche.

Blogging: Website Pages.

A blog page is a stand-alone page that contains information about you and your blog. The benefit of having a page is for your readers to have easy navigation around your website and direct access to you. Irrespective of your niche, you will need these pages for your audience to connect with you.

  1. Home page. This sums up everything about your blog.
  2. Blog page. Here, your readers can find your posts. Having a blog on your website makes your readers visit your blog regularly. Most businesses have an active blog on their website to post updates about their products or services.
  3. Contact page. Most readers may want to connect with you for various reasons- to ask a question, to share an experience, for collaboration and so on. It is important to have your contact information on your contact page and double check it to avoid giving wrong contact information.
  4. Thank you page. This page simply tells your readers, ” Thank you so much for spending your time on my website, no truly, you could have done something else with your time instead, you decided to be here; I appreciate it. Please come back soon because something exciting is always around the corner”.

You may also consider having a project page if you’d like to showcase your creativity, skills and talent. Finally, don’t forget to make your website fully responsive.

If you love this blog, kindly share the posts with your friends and loved ones. It will mean a lot to me to know your thoughts in the comments. Love, Grace
