A fabulous evening in Rashidiya Park

What I currently enjoy is spending quality time with my “mini hubby” in various parks in Dubai and watching him play like never before. When he wants to play, he goes hard, but don’t even try to make him play when he is not in the mood. Yesterday, we spent quality time in Rashidiya Park. I can’t believe I have lived close to this community for years, and I just found out about this special place a few days ago.

We initially wanted to visit Mushrif Park, but we decided to spend the evening in Rashidiya park for several reasons. If you’ve never heard of this cute place located close to Center Point Metro Station, don’t worry, I gatchu *wink*.

Rashidiya Park is located in the Rashidiya community, one of Dubai’s oldest and most peaceful, family-friendly communities. According to Bayut.com, it was once considered one of the best BBQ parks in Dubai.

The park consists of the following areas:

• Greenery landscape.

• Kids play area.
• Barbecue areas.
• Lots of shaded seating areas and gazebos.
• An outdoor tabletennis table.
• A kiosk.
• A resturant.
• Washrooms.

In summary, I had a great time walking around, swinging (it’s been a long time I felt free in the air), and, of course, getting my son to play with other things apart from the sand.

It is an excellent spot for a long walk and to get creative as a writer.

I have only visited two recreational parks in Dubai- Silicon Oasis North Park and Rashidiya Park because of the proximity to where I live. Of course, there are other fantastic parks in Dubai that have a variety of activities for adults and kids; I can’t wait to check them out!

2. Entry fee: free

3. Timing: 8 am – 11 pm. Public holidays: 8 am – 12 am.
