If this is your first blogging experience, congratulations! I want to be the first to say you’re in for an exciting journey! Though you have to note that “behind every successful blog, there is an intriguing and inspirational story”, you might encounter challenges like:
- Dealing with writer’s block.
- Taking the perfect blog picture by yourself.
- Learning from your mistakes.
- Dealing with turned down blog collaboration request or rejection from affiliate programs.
- Low blog traffic.

I’m sorry for introducing the ugly side of blogging so soon; I did this because the earlier you understand what blogging entails, the sooner you can be adequately prepared.
Contrary to the challenges mentioned above, there are outrageous misconceptions about blogging that poses a serious problem for new bloggers, limiting their ability to thrive. These misconceptions include:
– Only affluent people can be lifestyle bloggers
– If you don’t generate income within the first three months of blogging, you are probably not applying the right strategies.
– Blogging is not as important as people claim.
I will address these ridiculous misconceptions in a future post, but for now, this post aims to help you overcome your blogging challenges.
To achieve your blogging goals, you need to be determined, hardworking and passionate by:
- Being creative.
2. Generating leads for businesses.
3. Learning to harness your talents.
4. Being a source of motivation to people.
5. Generating various streams of income from your blog.
Therefore, to simplify your first few days of blogging, I made this 10-day blogging
plan just for you.
Day 1. Establish your social media presence, make a logo, and create an editorial calendar.
Day 2. Schedule a photoshoot session, design flyers for your articles, choose 2 topics you’ll like to write on based on your niche and write an article on each topic.
Day 3. Publish the articles, promote them on social media, reply to comments.
Day 4. Schedule a photoshoot session, flyer design, write 3 articles.
Day 5. Publish 2 content on the blog, promote the articles on social media, reply to comments.
Day 6. Connect with other bloggers on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn.
Day 7. Read up on topics related to your niche, do keywords research, publish an article on the blog.
Day 8. Photoshoot session, edit photos, buy items for your blog, update your Pinterest board.
Day 9. Publish 3 posts, respond to collaboration emails, connect with more bloggers, talk to people about your blog
Day 10. Build a community on social media, connect with your followers, go live on Instagram or Facebook.

I’d like to conclude by adding that I often tell my blogging clients to make sure they are passionate about their new blog because there will definitely be times they’ll want to quit. At that point, the glimmer of hope will be your passion for your blog.
