A while ago, I wrote about the habits that help me live a proactive life. However, this post is about those habits that hinder productivity and performance in our personal and professional lives.
It’s easy to recognize the things we need to improve our lives, but quite a lot, we tend to ignore those habits preventing us from being better people. Below are the most common habits to get rid of.
1. Lack of self-worth. This could take the form of low self-confidence &esteem and not believing in yourself.
2. Skipping meals. When there’s no energy to function properly, there’s every tendency for the individual to perform less.
3. Not taking care of your health. It’s better to get treated and rest properly when you don’t feel healthy than delay seeking medical attention.
4. All or nothing attitude. It can also be described as being rigid. Flexibility improves performance and productivity.
5. Ignoring milestones. This helps in times when there’s no motivation to be productive.
6. Lack of strategic planning. Not having a plan can lead to being overwhelmed by your workload. The result may be rushing to get the work done and afterwards regret it because you didn’t give it your best. Planning leads to better performance.
7. Being defined by your past failures. Failure is a part of life. Although we should learn from it, many people don’t let go of failures, which could lead to a lack of self-belief and low performance.
8. Assumption. For instance, if the task given to you is ambiguous, you might get confused or doubt your performance. Whenever you feel confused about your task, it’s advisable to seek clarity or ask for help.
9. Procrastination and inconsistency. Especially for creatives, being inconsistent can diminish the quality of your work.
What other things do you think can hinder productivity and performance?

My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on several websites for about a year and am anxious about switching to another platform. I have heard good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!
Hi! Would you mind if I share your blog with my myspace

Please let me know. Cheers
I was wondering if you ever considered changing the structure of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?
One thing I would like to comment on is that fat burning plan fast may be accomplished by the appropriate diet and exercise. Your size not only affects appearance, but also the complete quality of life. Self-esteem, melancholy, health risks, and also physical capabilities are influenced in extra weight. It is possible to just make everything right but still gain. In such a circumstance, a condition may be the culprit. While an excessive amount of food and not enough body exercise are usually the culprit, common health concerns and widely used prescriptions could greatly add to size. Many thanks for your post here.
