5 reasons women want ‘assurance’ in marriage.

It’s not uncommon to see ladies who want assurance that their relationship will lead to marriage, but did you know wives seek assurance, in another form, from their husbands?

The assurance most married women desire is in the form of material things. According to what I read some months back, the phase of intangible forms of assurance such as love, trust, and so on should be during courtship but in marriage, the husband should be totally responsible for the needs of his wife.

I had a conversation with a friend who supports the notion that wives should seek assurance from their husbands. She claims that it is common in her country to see women brag about the possessions given to them by their husbands or joint businesses they have with them as their husbands’ way of showing commitment to the marriage. However, this doesn’t stop their husbands from doing whatever they want to do.

Further discussion about this topic made me realize that these women don’t need assurance because they are lazy but because they feel it is a benefit of being married …

Some reasons they seek assurance in marriage include:

– Proof of love.

– Financial stability.

– Investment or family business.

– Unfortunate circumstances.

– Proof of devotion to the family.

This is one of the most controversial topics I have written about, being in conversations with friends and reading articles increase my awareness of the ever-evolving human nature. Based on the responses I got from some of my blog readers, some believe the man should give his wife some possessions in her name, while others believe the wives should either earn those things by being a good wife or shouldn’t demand things but rather create assurance for themselves.
