My first stop is always Asda, where I can’t help but grab one of their scrumptious scones. They’re hands down my favourite treat – soft, buttery, and just the right amount of sweetness. If you’re in need of a pre-made celebration cake, Asda offers a great selection. You’ll find plenty of options there—trust me, you’ll thank me later!
With my snack in hand (sometimes), I head over to the Card Factory. This place is my go-to for anything celebration-related. Whether it’s birthdays, anniversaries, or just because, they’ve got cards, balloons, and all the little extras that make any event special.
Next up, it’s a quick dash to Aldi, also at Beach Boulevard. If you haven’t tried their brioche milk bread, you’re seriously missing out! It’s perfect for everything from breakfast toast to fancy sandwiches. I always make sure to grab a couple of loaves to keep my pantry stocked.
Of course, no shopping trip would be complete without a visit to Dunelm. I’m a sucker for stylish pieces, and Dunelm never disappoints. Whether I’m looking for cosy throws, chic cushions, or that one piece that will tie the room together, I always find something that catches my eye.
But the best part? Before diving into the shopping frenzy, I love taking my son to Queen’s Links, just down the road from the retail park. It’s our little tradition – we enjoy some fresh air and fun before tackling our shopping list. It’s the perfect way to start our day out, and it makes the whole experience even more enjoyable.
