It’s been a while I made cornrows on my hair. I made this protective style myself a few days ago when I was on ‘night duty’ with my Lil man. He still doesn’t sleep at night, so I decided to make good use of my time on one of such nights.

I’m sure you’re already aware of my unique hair making skills. I learned how to make my hair by myself more than two decades ago, and it has really been helpful, especially when I move to a new city and can’t find anyone to make my hair.

I made 8 medium size cornrows because I wanted something simple and fast. I used a black hair extension (colour 1) that was pre-cut. After making my hair, I added some lightweight beads to the ends- 4 beads on each braid. It took about 2 hours to get it done, and that was because I had distractions( my son tried to tangle the hair extension).
